Backhoe competed at the national level in womens ultimate frisbee from 1997-2010.  
We may be on sabbatical now.
Or our light may have been successfully blown out. 
But our history and legacy will continue
to be a large part of the lives of nearly a hundred women
who now live across the the United States.
If you played on a team that competed against us over the last 14 years
we just want to express our thanks to you

for making us into stronger athletes, stronger people, and giving us a lifetime of memories as your opponents. 
No matter what

we are extremely proud

to have been able to unite at the elite level for the state of North Carolina
in the sport of ultimate frisbee.
