Backhoe earns 9th place overall at the World Ultimate Club Championships
in Prague, Czech Republic!!! Backhoe was very proud to accept an extra bid to the World Ultimate Club Championship (WUCC) only a few months before the July 2010 tournament. Hosted only once every four years, WUCC is an extraordinary opportunity to meet and compete against top athletes from around the world. With a team of 14 players Backhoe came to WUCC 2010 with the simple expectation that we would play to the best of our abilities and enjoy the team experience for what it was worth. We finished 9th place overall, 4th for the USA, and had a great time playing Switzerland, Japan, Russia, Canada, and other US teams. We also ate lots of goulash and schnitzel and had many walking adventures in the beautiful city of Prague.
Our team results summary is posted on the Triangle Flying Disc Association website on July 19.
