Historically an invite-only tournament for top nationals finishers, the ECC serves as a key tune-up for club nationals. It is one of the only highly-competitive opportunities for east and west coast U.S. teams to meet. Again this year the Seattle ultimate frisbee community has fortified the competition and professionalism by recruiting teams from Japan, England, and now Columbia. |

Chesapeake Open |

Chesapeake is often the final tournament in the club pre-series. Located in the middle of east coast USA and in a travel hub this tournament is able to draw in a mix of regional teams. This year's competition will be especially talented and diverse including showings from the west, midwest, south, mid-atlantic, and the northeast. Eastern Canada and England are also sending teams. |

Two teams earn elgibility to compete at U.S. Nationals. Each year every region has an opportunity to earn an extra bid to nationals if it demonstrates strong growth in the number of participating teams. In 2009, the Mid-Atlantic earned this extra bid, meaning the top 3 teams will be eligible for the National competition. |

UPA Club Nationals |

The top 16 womens teams in the United States will compete for four days on the sometimes windy sometimes not polo fields of Sarasota. The 1st place team will earn indescribable glory and also a berth to the WFDF World Ultimate Championships to take place July 2010 in Prague, Czech Republic. |
